Water's Fault provided excellent work on my rental home that incurred water damage from a leaking shower unit. This resulted in structural damage and mold incursion. I contacted Water's Fault on a Thursday, received an estimate the same day, work started on Friday and mold mitigation and validation testing finish bathroom renovation and the ability to rent out the home ASAP. Office manager, Kate, provided daily updates with photo documentation of work performed. The company was very professional in the work performed.

I couldn’t be happier with the remediation work done by Water’s Fault for our bathroom. It was the first time I encountered this kind of situation as a homeowner and they made the process stress free. From the start, their team was professional, thorough, and accommodating. Mike came out for a free initial estimate and clearly explained all our options and how to proceed. Although the project took about a month, the delay was due to the insurance process. Kate, the project manager, was exceptional, handling all communication with the insurance company, sending photos, providing quotes, and following up to ensure payment was processed smoothly.
Paul and Stan, who completed the bulk of the remediation work, were polite, clean, and very respectful of our home. They performed three separate leak test visits to ensure the issues were fully resolved: the first to identify the source, the second to check if the repair was successful, and the third after additional leaks were found and fixed. They recommended a trusted plumber from their partner network, and we decided to go with them, which worked out perfectly. Both the drywall and paint teams were fantastic—the drywall repairs were seamless, and the paint matched perfectly. Mike was involved throughout the project and checking the repairs at each step up to final completion to ensure everything was perfect. The damage was repaired so well that it’s like it was never there! I highly recommend Water’s Fault – they’re reliable, communicative, and deliver outstanding results!

These guys are the most clean, polite and meticulous construction / plumbing workers I have ever had in my home. We called them as we had water damage due to leakage in bathroom which is adjacent to walk in wardrobe as well. Live in Hayward & Mike was at home within 70 mins post first call. He was pleasant to talk to & patient with all our questions. Quickly assessed the damage & got to work. Helped us to minimize damage by swiftly removing baseboard & carpet giving it a chance to survive instead of disposing it. Also gave recommendations on reducing cost of repairs if we decided to hire a handyman. Gave us additional advice on another bathroom we have just to support any open questions we had about anything in the house. Water's fault was amazing to work with. I encountered water leakage which damaged my whole first floor and it was Mike and his team who turned the situation around, I really appreciated everything.
Initially I appointed 2 companies for damage estimation. The first company dropped in my place, took a few pictures but wasn't able to do any mitigation. Stan from water's fault immediately figured out where the leakage happened (and stopped that) which was very impressive.
During the reconstruction Mike and his team was very responsive and pleasant to work with. They were professional and offered very high quality work. They also handled all communication with my insurance company which saved tons of my time!
I would recommend Water's fault to all and would definitely work with them again should I need same service in the future!

I HIGHLY recommend Waters Fault for any leak discovery efforts you need. They bring in purpose built equipment (digital moisture meters, dehumidifiers, mold combatants, etc...) to ID WHERE your leak is penetrating internally. For us, it was a mystery - until they arrived. Mike and his team have great character and are VERY professional, thorough, courteous, communicative, conscientious, adaptable, flexible, and thoughtful in their approach, and handling of ALL materials inside and outside of your home. While no one ever hopes or wants a water leak or damage in their home, if it happens you want to work with the best. We unfortunately had an ongoing leak we were unaware of and this winter it sadly became obvious. Having water damage and mold in your home is about the worst I could imagine, the stress and anxiety along with health concerns for your family. We reached out to 6 companies and Waters Fault was the best. Very prompt, great communication and most importantly very reliable. They communicated very clearly throughout the process. They did what they committed to, on time and while it ended up costing slightly more it was because they ended up having to do 3x the demo of original plan. Sadly our damage was much more severe than anticipated. We can’t say enough positive things about Waters Fault, Mike and his whole crew and company. Their communication throughout was the best ever and the owner Mike made sure to be here at every important phase to explain to us and show great care. I sure hope we never need to hire another remediation company but if we do I would call Mike and Waters Fault without hesitation.

Water's Fault just completed a significant remediation job at our home in Oakland. I really can't say enough good things about this company.
From my first conversation and with every step throughout the process they were skilled, efficient, professional and provided excellent communication. With something as grand scaled as this kind of work can be, it is so important to feel a high level of confidence and simultaneously feel that no one is trying to take advantage of the situation.
Stanley came out to the house for an inspection finding the problem in quick order. Then, for my peace of mind, he thoroughly checked the rest of the house to ensure there were no other sources beyond what he had found. Later Mike the owner came out for additional inspection under the house and provided additional perspective and understanding for us. They explained mold spores, how they travel, their resilience and what it takes to remediate.
Other companies said we needed to start with an expensive air test just to come look. From the moment of assessing the situation, and through performing every step of the process Water's Fault kept the impact low on us as we continued to live in the house throughout the remediation. Their proved calmly knowledge and showed a willingness to work with us on solutions and scope - as there are always decisions to be made with just how far you want to go with this kind of work.
We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Water's Fault to anyone needing water damage or mold remediation.

Mike and his crew were exceptional. We had a big water problem that caused them to rip up and replace our kitchen floor. They came in the same day the issue occurred and made us feel comfort in knowing they had it handled.
After drying out everything, they worked incredibly hard over three days to redo our entire kitchen floor. After it was done, they even repainted all of our floor boards so the kitchen really pops.
Highly recommend this company for any work to be done. They have incredibly high integrity, an amazing work ethic, and very trustworthy.
