While no one ever hopes or wants a water leak or damage in their home, if it happens you want to work with the best.   We unfortunately had an ongoing leak we were unaware of and this winter it sadly became obvious.    Having water damage and mold in your home is about the worst I could imagine, the stress and anxiety along with health concerns for your family.  We reached out to 6 companies and Waters Fault was the best.   Very prompt, great communication and most importantly very reliable.   They communicated very clearly throughout the process.   They did what they committed to, on time and while it ended up costing slightly more it was because they ended up having to do 3x the demo of original  plan.   Sadly our damage was much more severe than anticipated.    We can’t say enough positive things about Waters Fault, Mike and his whole crew and company.   Their communication throughout was the best ever and the owner Mike made sure to be here at every important phase to explain to us and show great care. This team is great! They responded super fast, took care of all my furniture when repairing my ceiling, cleaned up my house and put everything back when it’s done, provided very detailed reports, contacted with my insurance company to follow up with the updates. Water's Fault just completed a significant remediation job at our home in Oakland.  I really can't say enough good things about this company.
From my first conversation and with every step throughout the process they were skilled, efficient, professional and provided excellent communication.  With something as grand scaled as this kind of work can be, it is so important to feel a high level of confidence and simultaneously feel that no one is trying to take advantage of the situation.

Stanley came out to the house for an inspection finding the problem in quick order.  Then, for my peace of mind, he thoroughly checked the rest of the house to ensure there were no other sources beyond what he had found.  Later Mike the owner came out for additional inspection under the house and provided additional perspective and understanding for us.  They explained mold spores, how they travel, their resilience and what it takes to remediate.

Other companies said we needed to start with an expensive air test just to come look.  From the moment of assessing the situation, and through performing every step of the process Water's Fault kept the impact low on us as we continued to live in the house throughout the remediation. Their proved calmly knowledge and showed a willingness to work with us on solutions and scope - as there are always decisions to be made with just how far you want to go with this kind of work.

Mike and his crew were exceptional. We had a big water problem that caused them to rip up and replace our kitchen floor. They came in the same day the issue occurred and made us feel comfort in knowing they had it handled.

After drying out everything, they worked incredibly hard over three days to redo our entire kitchen floor. After it was done, they even repainted all of our floor boards so the kitchen really pops.

We had Water's Fault assist with water and mold remediation due to a long standing leak discovered with heavy rains. The Water's Fault team is exceptional in their 'discovery' of the location of the leak and remediation. They were respectful of the existing materials, only removing what is absolutely necessary. I am very thankful for their approach of sanding our wood floor that wasn't drying instead of ripping a few feet of it out completely. They are honest, keep a clean worksite (important when it's in the middle of your home), they are communicative, and you can count on them. Mike and his team are amazing. I have worked with Mike for several years. First when he was a general handyman and now focusing on water damage.
Mike is very knowledgeable and always provides excellent advice. He also picks his team carefully, and I have found his employees to be considerate and diligent.
We recently experienced leakage from heavy rains. He took the time to listen to our concerns and presented us with options that would work for us. Mike and his team helped us fix things efficiently before the issue got out of hand.
He also took on a major water damage project a couple of years ago, and we are very happy with his work.

Mike was great, and very helpful in helping us dry out our bathroom. He was efficient and worked hard. He also came every day to check on the moisture levels, which we appreciated.
