Water’s Fault Restorations was hired to perform the water damage assessment and restoration at a family house in San Francisco.
Based on the provided assessment report, the client made the decision to proceed with our company’s service, including demolition, drying, and restoration of the property to it’s pre-disaster condition.
During the demolition stage, we’ve discovered mold on ceiling and wall structures.
That required us to set up additional protection and precautions, such as a containment, decontamination chamber, negative air pressure equipment, and additional covering in the working area. Also, we performed certain procedures for mold remediation.
Our team did all the work step by step, following the best water damage restoration and mold remediation practices:
- Partial demolition of damaged drywall and insulation
- Containment, decontamination chamber and negative air pressure equipment installation
- Mold removal and treatment of contaminated surfaces
- Dehumidification and drying of the area
- Moisture level control during and after the drying process
- New insulation and drywall installation
- Patching and sanding walls
- Painting walls and ceiling to match existing colors
- Baseboard installation
- Light fixture installation
- Cleaning the job site
